Are they sold singly or in sets?

The number of pieces is listed on the product page. Sets are the norm: a single coaster isn't much use on a table hosting several guests.

What's the material?

Cork, resin, acrylic or ceramic depending on the item, as listed on the product page. Cork absorbs condensation, while resin and acrylic wipe clean with a sponge.

Do they protect against a hot glass?

Cork and ceramic insulate well. Acrylic doesn't: it warps under a scalding mug, and that's the point to check before using them with hot drinks.

What size are they?

The diameter or side length is on the product page. A coaster should extend slightly beyond the base of the glass to catch drips running down.

How do I clean them?

Use a damp sponge, and avoid prolonged soaking for cork, which swells. No dishwasher unless the product page says otherwise.

What designs are available?
