Bardock is Goku’s father: a low-class Saiyan warrior, the one who stood up to Frieza the day the tyrant wiped Planet Vegeta off the map. This collection brings together the items where he appears, in a solo portrait, with his family, or among the saga’s heroes.

THE SAIYAN WHO DEFIED FRIEZA 💥

Before he’s the hero’s father, Bardock is a soldier of the Saiyan race, serving Frieza like the rest of his people. When the tyrant decides to annihilate Planet Vegeta, he’s one of the only ones to rise up against him, and he perishes along with his world. His son Kakarot, meanwhile, was sent to Earth as a baby: there, he would become Goku. The resemblance between father and son is striking, so much so that you’d mix them up if not for the scar on Bardock’s cheek and the red headband tied around his forehead.

ARMS CROSSED, SCOUTER OVER HIS EYE, OR CHARGING UP 🔥

The product pages mostly show him in his fighting gear: green Saiyan armor and red headband. That’s him, arms crossed, on the figure as well as on the iPhone case, where he stands out against a background of black-and-white manga panels. The poster shows him with one foot on a rock, a green scouter over his eye, in a canyon under a pink sky. The backpack set carries the same design across its three pieces, backpack, shoulder bag, and pencil case: Bardock charges a blue energy sphere amid bolts of lightning. The black T-shirt places him in front of a red moon, with his name written in katakana just below. And on The Eight Warriors curtain, he takes his place as a Super Saiyan, with golden hair.

On the pair of blackout curtains, baby Goku, wrapped in a blue aura, is surrounded by his parents, Bardock and his partner Gine, both in Saiyan armor against a midnight-blue background. On the acrylic keychain, he stands behind Kid Goku, who is riding the dragon Shenron.
